Started by a man
who was found.
Local 3:16 was founded by Mikey — a man who knows firsthand what it means to be written off, and what it means to be found. Decades lost to addiction. A three-word prayer from a prison cell: "God, help me." Fifteen years sober, working union jobs that taught him what brotherhood really means: show up, do the work right, and carry the weight together.
When the storm hit again years later, it was the church that showed up for him — and out of that came a calling. Mikey went into the streets asking one question: What can I do to help? The answer became Local 3:16 — a union of believers connecting willing hands to the organizations that need them most.
Someone showed up for Mikey when he had nothing left. Now there's work to do, and people still waiting. Will you show up with us?
